Rumour has it that Glo have gone and bought the Osu building that MTN rent and use as their flagship store.
So MTN have to either:
(a) bounce
(b) pay rent to Glo.
Ouch.
If this is true then the first bullet has been shot in what looks set to be a war the likes of which Ghana's relatively sedate corporate scene has not seen in awhile.
Let the games begin.

ReplyDeleteI heard this rumour too from one of my office-mates. Hopefully war between these corporate telecom types means better service for the consumer. Zain is launching its assault on the market by allowing potential customers to reserve their own number...Fabulous strategy.
