It may seem inane, repetitive and a little misogynistic when I watch it now but, as a kid in '80s London, when those words emerged - over a backdrop of military drumming - from our tiny Hitachi television, my parents knew better than to try and get me to pay attention to anything else. This morning, it is being reported that Ridley Scott has signed on to produce (not direct) a remake of the A-Team and I, for one, am excited.

I usually think Hollywood is being lazy and overly nostalgic with all these '80s shows they keep forcibly resuscitating and this time is no different. Regardless though, this could be fun. The idea of shifting the team's origins from Vietnam to the Middle East although unoriginal could make it a little topical, and the rumoured casting of Bruce Willis as Hannibal and Ice Cube as the new Bosco Albert 'Bad Attitude' Barracas sounds pretty inspired if you ask me (if they go for the roles).

Another self confessed A-team geek here. But unlike you i would hate to see Ice cube as Barracas[ he has become to soft, to slick ( the guy was the lead in ' Are We There Yet' for f's sake)... from his days as NWA member to this, its just a shame; Ice T would be a better replacement lol.Am yet to see anyone who made you pee in your little shorts as a 12 year old with just a look as Barracas did.Bruce Willis as Hannibal, i can see working, barely. Let's just hope the final product isnt as sloppy as the casting.

Ice T? Naaaah. Something about him (maybe the accent) make it hard for me to take him seriously. The thing about Cube is that he is an actor, so he can switch between Are We There Yet? and having a still-credible hip hop career (his latest album got surprisingly good reviews from the hip-hop press). There may be people better than Cube for that role (Michael Clarke Duncan? Ving?), but I think Cube could definitely scowl the ish out of the role.
